Chain Block

A chain block is a device that can be used to lift or lower heavy loads by using a chain. It consists of a lifting mechanism that is attached to a hook at the top and a hook at the bottom. The lifting mechanism has a wheel that supports a chain loop, which is operated by a hand chain. By pulling the hand chain, the user can rotate the wheel and move the chain loop, which in turn raises or lowers the load hook. Chain blocks are also known as manual chain hoists or block and tackles. They are commonly used in various industries, such as construction, manufacturing, and marine, where they provide a simple and reliable way to handle heavy objects.
